Our campsite is essentially designed for overland touring companies but can accommodate those who are travelling with their own camping equipment. Each of the four main sites (Mopani, Teak, Amarula and Baobab are designed to accommodate a truck of 25 campers – mostly using their own tents. Trucks pull into specially designed bays, where they can access power for various needs. There are four shaded slabs set between lawns for campers to erect tents and a communal, covered - (handy in rainy season), dining area. Each bay also has its own kitchen area for cooking (there is a braai grill installed), counter tops for food prep and serving and sinks for washing pots/pans and clothes. There are multiple sockets for charging any means of device. Each bay has a clothes drying horse, there is also an additional cold shower in each bay – particularly for those who want to cool off in the boiling hot summer weather.
All campers on the site can access the communal ablutions (toilets and showers) – which are kept immaculate throughout the day and are very modern in design and finish – with hot water a plenty, mirrors galore and plenty of ‘grooming space.’
