A concentrate of efficiency!
Excellent tour operator, efficient and punctual. We saw the falls on the only side of Zimbabwe and we had little time (one night only) but thanks to Shearewater Explorers we were able to do everything: cruise, helicopter and guided tour on the whole walking route of the falls; excellent Hotel (and its restaurant) equidistant from all the activities to be done. Friendly staff.

Bedbugs
Bedbugs. Along with several people who travelled with me, I am not enjoying the aftermath of rooms with bedbugs. We thought they were mosquito bites at first, but the grouping and large discoloured red areas on the skin are caused by bedbugs. The heat and extreme itch are more severe than symptoms connected to mosquito bites.

Nice Lodging While Seeing Victoria Falls
I stayed two nights at the Village as arranged as part of my National Geographic tour. The camp is very close to Victoria Falls (the actual falls) as well as some shopping and restaurants. The Village was excellent in all respects. The rooms, staff, and food were all great. The complex includes a nice restaurant and pool area. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Very poor customer service for 2 female travellers
Arrived 12/9/24 room book with our tour co for 4 days. Told we'd have to move to another rm next day. Next rm offered =a v basic tent. We said No Way! Put in another hotel but for 1 night only. Now we have to go back there and will have to cool heels for hours before we get access to new rm

Intrepid trip stop
This place was humming with Intrepid & other tour buses staying like us in the tents & other tourists in the lodges. Friendly staff, great showers, good restaurant and pool area. Tour desk, bar and a market just up the street. Great having power in our tent!

Excellent hotel in a great location
I really enjoyed my stay here before and after a group tour. It’s a very comfortable and well equipped hotel which is busy and has a high turnover of people coming and going. The pool area is very nice and there is a good bar and restaurant as well. The restaurant can be a bit slow at times depending on how busy it is. They never seemed to have any change available when paying in cash which was a bit frustrating at times. It made me suspicious that it was perhaps a ploy to be told to keep the change as a tip? I got talking to one of the waiters called Welly one day who was very friendly and polite and helpful. Eleanor who was one of the bedroom cleaners was also very nice, The location is very good, close to the park and the town centre where all the shops and restaurants are.

Reception staff needs a smile
We stayed in the Tents, really nice area, did the white river rafting! We went with guide Frank and he was amazing!! Really nice pool and dinner area. Only downside was reception staff was really unwelcoming in general, not the friendliest staff at the resort! Otherwise really good

Hotel maravilloso. Las habitaciones son agradables y muy cómodas. El personal es amable y la comida extraordinaria (aunque el servicio era algo lento). La piscina se agradecía después de un día de intenso turismo por las Cataratas Victoria, que están a unos escasos quince minutos a pie. Lo único que echamos en falta fue una neverita en la habitación. Por el resto, todo maravilloso.

Outstanding staff, great accommodation, super location.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Accommodation in Deluxe rooms was very comfortable, and the extensive public areas are most relaxing. The 2 linked swimming pools were fully large enough to amuse the children in our party, while there were also plenty of sun loungers and a delightful semi covered lounge area. The gardens are magnificent. It is an easy and pleasant 15 minute walk to the entrance of the Victoria Falls park. Staff were outstanding and could not be more attentive.

Convenient location
We stayed here for 2 nights and especially liked the hotel for its closeness to Victoria Fallls and the number of shops, restaurants and bars that were within easy walking distance. We were in Room 25 which was a bit small but had good A/C. The room had some shelving in the corner for clothes storage that were much too close to the bed. The bathroom could also use some additional lighting above the sink. We ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel both days and the food was average. The breakfast buffet is all cold food (fruit, cereals and breads), but you can order some hot dishes (eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes) from the kitchen, but it could take quite some time depending how busy the restaurant was.

Do not book this hotel. I am a travel agent not only did they not discount my room or Tours they short changed us in every way possible. This place will nickel and dime you to death. I booked three tours through this hotel and like the Safari says 5 1/2 hours we barely got two hours. The walking tour of Victoria falls was a 2 1/2 hour tour we only got one and a half hours. The sunset cruise was nice. I know three of these tours unbeknownst to us, they charge us additional fees in cash, even to go on the sunset cruise we had to pay them an additional $10 per person and we watched them pocket it. All of the Safari‘s they try to collect an additional $30 but yet their website says nothing of it. When I tried to sit down and have a conversation about this disappointment with the head manager, they turned it around and put all the blame on me and literally brought me to tears. I highly recommend you stay as far away from this hotel as possible
